Assembly Operative

Key Responsibilities:

• Efficiently assemble plastic modules into conveyor belts, following detailed customer orders and specifications.
• Ensure high-quality work and accuracy in every step of the assembly process.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues. Adhere to the company's safety policies and guidelines at all times.
• Ensure that all tasks are completed within the required time frames.
• Maintain a clean and organised work space, ensuring that tools, materials, and equipment are stored properly and are in good working condition.
• Work as part of a team, offering support to fellow workers and contributing to a positive and efficient work environment. 
• Ensure all assemblies meet high-quality standards and customer specifications.

Requirements:

•  Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is essential. Candidates with assembly line or factory work experience will be considered.
• Strong hand/eye coordination for precise and accurate assembly work.
• Good basic mathematics skills to understand measurements and calculations related to assembly tasks.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time, lift and move materials, and perform manual tasks as required.

Hourly Rate: £11.94 + Shift allowance 
Hours of work: 07:30am till 16:00pm Monday to Friday
