Process Operator – Immediate Start – Hereford
We are recruiting Process Operators on behalf of a global engineering leader specialising in high-performance alloys for aerospace, power generation, space exploration, and defence. Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Operating and monitoring manufacturing machinery, including CNC lathes, grinders, saws, drills, and handheld tools.
• Setting up and adjusting equipment to ensure accurate production in line with engineering specifications.
• Reading and interpreting work instructions, engineering drawings, and technical diagrams.
• Using precision measurement tools such as micrometers, vernier callipers, gauges, and rulers to check tolerances.
• Carrying out in-process quality checks and adjusting settings to maintain accuracy.
• Performing routine equipment checks and reporting any maintenance needs.
• Completing production documentation and following strict quality and safety procedures.
• Keeping work areas clean, safe, and organised in line with health & safety standards.
• Working closely with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience as a Process Operator or in CNC/machining (essential).
• Ability to set, operate, and adjust manufacturing equipment.
• Good communication skills and basic numeracy.
• Willingness to work a 3-shift rotation (6–2 / 2–10 / 10–6).
• Reliable, adaptable, and able to work well in a team environment.
• High attention to detail and commitment to following processes.
