Full-time, temp 3 month contract
Monday to Friday, day shifts (no nights)
43 hours per week
£13.93 per hour

We are seeking an experienced Class 2 Tipper Driver to transport biosolids from Northumbrian Water treatment facilities to agricultural customers across the North East region.
 
You will be responsible for ensuring full compliance with transport legislation, including Driver’s Hours Regulations, the Working Time Directive, and Operator Licence requirements.

The role also involves:

• Maintaining a clean, roadworthy, and compliant vehicle
• Completing pre-use checks and defect reporting in line with DVSA standards
• Safely loading and unloading rigid tipper vehicles in accordance with health and safety procedures
• Driving safely and fuel-efficiently to support environmental sustainability
• Delivering excellent customer service while representing the organisation professionally

About You 

• To be successful in this role, you will need:
• A valid LGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Driver CPC and digital tachograph card
• Good working knowledge of EU Drivers’ Hours Rules and Working Time Regulations
• Proven tipper driving experience (essential)
