Administration Assistant - Strong Excel Skills needed 
 
Working for a well recognised retailer who focus on delivering high quality products to consumers globally where their products are sold worldwide across multiple online marketplace channels.
As a result of continued growth and internal promotions, we are looking to welcome a Buying Admin Assistant to our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build a career in buying, merchandising, and licensing within a vibrant and fast-paced industry.
Your Role Will Include:
  • Acting as a key communication link internally and externally—frequently liaising with suppliers and licensors via email, phone, video call, and in-person meetings.
  • Handling a wide variety of administrative tasks to support the buying department.
  • Creating, updating, and maintaining product pricing spreadsheets and databases based on parameters from buying and finance teams.
  • Supporting trade meetings by working closely with other departments to help deliver on sales objectives.
  • Collaborating with production teams to provide accurate costing and development briefs; reviewing and approving samples when needed.
  • Managing your own time effectively to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Designing, maintaining, and analyzing reports and dashboards in Excel to support business and departmental goals.
  • Taking detailed notes during range planning and seasonal development meetings and providing summaries where needed.
  • Conducting competitor research and market analysis to support product development; compiling trend and range boards.
  • Attending industry events and traveling to supplier and licensor meetings when required.
About You:
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • A genuine passion for product and fashion.
  • Advanced Excel skills – must be highly proficient in spreadsheet management, using formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs/XLOOKUPs, and other analytical functions.
  • Experience creating and maintaining structured reports in Excel.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Motivated, eager to learn, and willing to go the extra mile.
