Litigation Paralegal

Job Title: Paralegal (Litigation)
Location: Swansea
Salary: £24,000 - £26,000 per annum
Type: Full-time, Permanent

We have an exciting opportunity for a Paralegal to join a well-established law firm in Swansea that works with both local and national clients. If you're passionate about litigation, have previous experience working in the public sector, and want to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect role for you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing and drafting legal documents, including statements of claim, witness statements, and court forms.
• Conduct legal research and case law analysis to support ongoing litigation cases.
• Manage case files, ensuring all documents are filed, tracked, and kept up to date.
• Communicate with clients, third parties, and experts to gather necessary information for cases.
• Support solicitors in the preparation and presentation of cases at court hearings.
• Maintain accurate records of case progress, timelines, and correspondence.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Previous experience as a paralegal, ideally within litigation, with a strong background in the public sector.
• Strong understanding of legal procedures and terminology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and work efficiently under pressure.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• A proactive approach and keen attention to detail.

Desirable:

• Law degree or equivalent legal qualification.
• Experience with court procedures and filings.
• A team player with the ability to work independently when required.
