Forklift Truck Driver / FLT Driver (Reach & Counterbalance)
Location: Leeds
Salary: £13.00 per hour | Full-time | Temp - Perm

Pertemps are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established logistics and warehouse operation in Leeds, for an experienced Forklift Truck Driver to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable FLT Driver (Reach and Counterbalance) looking for a long-term, stable role within a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and unloading lorries using FLT (Reach & Counterbalance)
  • Moving, stacking, and organising stock within the warehouse
  • Supporting daily warehouse operations to ensure efficiency
  • General warehouse duties including picking, packing, and housekeeping
  • Using warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer systems
  • Conducting pre-use checks on FLT equipment and reporting defects

Skills & Experience Required
  • Valid FLT Reach and Counterbalance licences (essential)
  • Proven experience as a Forklift Truck Driver / Warehouse Operative
  • Experience in a logistics, distribution, or warehouse environment
  • Basic IT / computer skills (WMS systems desirable)
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work under pressure
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

Working Hours
  • Monday to Friday
  • 10:00am – 8:00pm
  • 45 hours per week (including 1-hour unpaid break)
