CNC Programmer – Lathes (Day Shift)

 Dudley | £17–£19 per hour | Day Shift



A well-established precision engineering and manufacturing company based in Dudley is currently seeking an experienced CNC Programmer (Lathes) to join its growing production team on a permanent day shift.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes

• 
  Editing and optimising programs to improve efficiency and quality

• 
  Working from engineering drawings and technical specifications

• 
  Selecting appropriate tooling and setting machine parameters

• 
  Conducting first-off inspections and maintaining quality standards

• 
  Supporting continuous improvement within the machining process
  
  

Requirements:

• 
  Proven experience programming CNC lathes

• 
  Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

• 
  Strong understanding of tooling, speeds, and feeds

• 
  Experience with Fanuc, Mazatrol, or similar controls (preferred)

• 
  Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
