The Role:
As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you'll be responsible for:
- Preventative and reactive maintenance
- Mechanical fault-finding and breakdown repairs
- Working with hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, and fabrication
- Collaborating with electricians as part of a team-based environment
- Supporting production uptime in a busy, heavy industrial setting
What You’ll Need:
- NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Mechanical Maintenance (or equivalent)
- Apprenticeship-trained or time-served background preferred
- Experience in slitting or de-coiling is a strong advantage but not essential
- Proven experience in industrial or manufacturing environments
