Location: Bristol
Employment Type: Fixed Term Contract - 12 months
Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 AM - 5:30 PM

We are a prestigious legal firm based in Bristol, seeking a Credit Control Senior Manager (FTC) to join our dynamic and supportive revenue team for a fixed-term contract of 12 months. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader to take a key role in driving the firm's credit control function, contributing to sustainable improvements in firm lock-up and financial management. You will work within a collaborative environment with great benefits and flexible working policies, helping guide the team and influence key credit control strategies.
Main Duties:
o Work alongside the Credit Control Manager to review the performance of team members, identifying strengths, areas for development, and implementing strategies for skill improvement.
o Collaborate with various teams across the firm to drive improvements in the firm's lock-up, working closely with other departments to support smooth, efficient credit control operations.
o Review and refine existing credit control systems and processes to ensure features are being utilised effectively, enhancing efficiency and reducing outstanding debt.
o Build and maintain strong relationships with partners and key stakeholders within the firm, fostering a culture of financial responsibility.
o Work in conjunction with the finance transformation programme to help the firm adopt a more centralised, regimented approach to credit control, supporting system and process changes across the business.
o Regularly report progress on credit control initiatives and deliver updates to senior stakeholders, ensuring all targets and deadlines are met.
o Develop and implement credit control procedures globally, ensuring consistent application and the achievement of agreed financial outcomes.
o Focus on team development and leadership, guiding team members in skill development and the implementation of new processes to improve efficiency.
Skills Required:
o Experience in managing people, resources, budgets, and projects efficiently within a credit control or financial environment.
o Proven experience managing change within credit control functions and the ability to implement new strategies and evaluate the outcomes of projects and initiatives.
o Experience in developing and maintaining strong internal client relationships, delivering consistent results and solutions that meet business needs.
o Ability to motivate and develop junior team members, ensuring they achieve their full potential and contribute to the team's success.
o Practical experience in applying process improvements, managing people changes, and adopting new systems to enhance credit control operations.
