Are you an organised, proactive, and commercially-minded individual looking to take the next step in your career?
A well-established local manufacturing company based in Wolverhampton, are looking for an Internal Sales Administrator to support one of our Account Managers in managing a portfolio of key customer accounts.

This is a vital role within the sales and operations team, offering the opportunity to get involved in multiple aspects of the supply chain, from customer service to production planning and procurement. If you're a confident communicator with a keen eye for detail and strong numerical skills, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
Take ownership of key customer accounts, building strong working relationships and understanding their individual requirements.

Manage deliveries in line with customer forecasts and schedules, ensuring on-time performance.

Monitor and report on schedule adherence, identifying under- or over-consumption patterns.

Assist with stock control, ensuring optimal inventory levels.

Source materials and liaise with suppliers to negotiate pricing and lead times.

Coordinate outside processing as part of the production work flow.

Develop and update production processing instructions (full training will be provided).

Track and recover costs where necessary.

Update and maintain customer contract pricing on a monthly or quarterly basis.

Produce regular reports on usage, sales, and stock performance.

Support the growth of sales to both existing and new customers through excellent customer service and follow-ups.

Prepare accurate and timely quotations for both existing and prospective clients.

What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience in a sales administration, customer service or supply chain role, preferably within a manufacturing or engineering environment.

Strong organisational and time-management skills.

Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written.

Numerate with the ability to interpret technical drawings and calculate accurate quotations.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with ERP systems is a plus.

A proactive approach with a willingness to learn and take on responsibility.

This is a full time permanent, office based position.
