Class 1 HGV Drivers – Trunking (Tamworth)

Location: Tamworth
Hours: Flexible shifts, average 50 hours per week
Contract: Temporary to Permanent Opportunities

Pertemps are recruiting on behalf of a leading haulage company in Tamworth for experienced Class 1 HGV Drivers. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure ongoing work with a well-established business, offering competitive pay and excellent prospects for temp-to-perm positions.
 
The Role:

•   Class 1 trunking work to supermarket RDCs.
•  Driving curtain side vehicles – no handball required.
•  Regular shifts with plenty of overtime available.
• Average 50 hours per week. 
• Flexible shift patterns to suit your lifestyle.

 
Requirements:

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Minimum 12 months’ HGV Class 1 driving experience.
• Valid CPC & Digi Tacho card. 
• A professional, reliable, and safety-focused approach.

 
Salary (PAYE):

• £20.00 per hour PAYE

(Holiday pay accrued on top of hourly rate at standard rate)

• Seasonal Rate until January 2026
