Up to £14 per hour

Pertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced Grinder & Deburrer to join a well-established machining and fabrication specialist based in the B33 area of Birmingham.

Role Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for using a 4-axis angle grinder to dress mild steel and aluminium welds, preparing parts for powder coating. You'll be working as part of a skilled team producing high-quality fabricated components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Grinding, deburring, and dressing welds on mild steel and aluminium
• Preparing components for powder coating
• Ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards
• Working from job sheets and verbal instructions
• Using hand tools and power tools confidently and safely

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Grinder/Deburrer
• Competent with 4-axis angle grinders
• Experience with mild steel and aluminium
• Good attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Knowledge of fabrication processes is desirable

Hours & Pay:

• Monday to Thursday: 07:00 - 15:30
• Friday: 07:00 - 13:00
• Pay up to £14.00 per hour, depending on experience
