Estates Manager
Birmingham, up to £54K DOE
Full Time, 37.5 hours per week

Pertemps are working with a trusted partner in the healthcare sector to recruit an Estates Manager / Facilities Manager. This role supports the delivery of high-quality clinical services by ensuring robust estates management and compliance across a large, diverse healthcare estate.

Key Responsibilities:
  •  Oversee day-to-day management of key service contracts, including PFI and retained estate contracts.
  • Lead contract monitoring and ensure compliance with statutory, mandatory, and performance standards.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to maintain safety and operational integrity.
  •  Support strategic estates planning and the delivery of projects.
  • Provide clear reports and insights on contract performance to senior leadership.
Requirements:
  • HNC/Degree in Building, Engineering, or related discipline (Facilities/Commercial Management desirable).
  • Extensive healthcare estates/facilities management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of health & safety, technical compliance, and maintenance.
  • Proven contract and budget management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities.
