HGV Class 1 Driver

Are you a HGV Class 1 Driver looking for regular Monday to Friday work in Birmingham? Want to work with one of the UK's leading supply chain logistics providers? Day and night shifts are available Monday - Saturday from 04:00 - 18:00 starts.

This role will involve:

- Making deliveries & collections nationwide
- Variety of runs anywhere from 3-5 drops per day
- 8-12 hour shifts (Minimum 8 hours paid)
- 5 shifts per week
- No handball
- Site is based in Erdington, Birmingham
- Overtime available after 40 hours completed

Successful HGV Class 1 Drivers will:

- Have at least 6 months C+E experience
- Held Class 1 licence for AT LEAST 2 years
- Have no more than 6 points for minor offenses (No DDs, DRs or CDs)
- Hold valid CPC card and Digital Tachograph card

HGV Class 1 Night Drivers PAYE rates of pay:

Days - £16.30 (OT £24.45)
Nights - £18.00 (OT £27.00)

Mandatory assessments are involved which will include:

- Written test (Excellent knowledge of Driving hours, Tacho laws and Highway Code required)
- Full site and safe systems of work induction
- Vehicle familiarisation
- Practical driving assessment
- Bridge Strike Safety
