Assembler

Pertemps West Bromwich are looking for an assembler for a well established manufacturer based in Tipton.
 

Key Responsibilities 

• Assemble bespoke lighting products using a variety of tools including screwdrivers, alan keys, hand saws etc. 
  
  
• Work with technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions
  
  
• Ensure all products meet strict quality and safety standards before dispatch
  
  
• Collaborate with designers, engineers, and production staff to solve technical challenges
  
  
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment
  
  
• Support continuous improvement of production processes
  
  

 
What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in assembly, electrical work, or manufacturing preferred (lighting experience an advantage, but not essential)
  
  
• Good hand skills and attention to detail
  
  
• Ability to follow technical drawings and specifications accurately
  
  
• Comfortable using hand tools and workshop equipment
  
  
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
  
  
• Team player with good communication skills
  
  

 
 
Hours:
 
07:00-16:00 Monday to Friday with a 30 minute lunch break and X2 15 minute breaks throughout the day
 

This role would be a temporary to permanent position for the right candidate.
