Facilities Caretaker (Keyholder)

Our client are looking to employ a facilities caretaker to look after the site based in Hednesford.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a key holder, ensuring the site is securely opened and locked each day.
  
  
• Carry out routine maintenance, basic repairs, and daily site checks.
  
  
• Maintain the cleanliness, presentation, and safety of the school grounds.
  
  
• Support health and safety compliance across the site.
  
  
• Assist with deliveries, room setups, and equipment moves.
  
  
• Respond promptly to any urgent site issues.
  
  

 

 Essential Requirements:

 

• Enhanced DBS check with safeguarding certification (current and valid).
  
  
• Previous experience working in a school or education environment.
  
  
• Flexible availability for morning and evening shifts.
  
  
• Hands-on experience with general maintenance and practical site work.
  
  
• Reliable, responsible, and detail-oriented.
  
  

 

  Pay Rate:

 

 £14 - £15 per hour

 

   Working hours:

 

Monday: 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm

 

Tuesday: 3:15 pm – 6:15 pm

 

Wednesday: 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm

 

Thursday: 3:15 pm – 6:15 pm

 

Friday: 3:15 pm – 6:15 pm
