Job Title: Welder & Fabricator

Hours: [Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pm]

About the Role:
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Welder and Fabricator to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will have experience in MIG and TIG welding, with a strong background in reading technical drawings and fabricating a variety of metal components to a high standard. Working in the works and site work . 

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on various materials including mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium
  
  
• Fabricate components based on engineering drawings and specifications
  
  
• Operate a variety of fabrication machinery (press brake, guillotine, grinders, etc.)
  
  
• Measure and cut material accurately
  
  
• Inspect and test welds for quality and durability
  
  
• Maintain tools and equipment in safe working order
  
  
• Adhere to health and safety procedures at all times
  
  

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a welder/fabricator
  
  
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  
  
• Competency in MIG and TIG welding
  
  
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  
  
• Good time management and ability to meet deadlines
  
  
• Relevant welding qualifications or certifications preferred
  
  

Desirable:

• Forklift licence or crane operation experience
  
  
• Experience working in [e.g. heavy industry, marine fabrication, custom builds, etc.]
