Location: Bridgend


Pay:  £18.17 per hour


Contract: Temporary


Shifts:


24/7 rotating shift pattern consisting of 12-hour shifts:

• 6:00am – 6:00pm
• 6:00pm – 6:00am
• Shifts will include weekdays, weekends, and bank holidays on a rotating basis.

 


Pertemps are currently recruiting for an operations Technician to join a busy production environment for an immediate start. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with previous production or manufacturing experience who are looking to join a fast-paced operational team.


 


Key Responsibilities


 

• Operating and supporting production line activities
• Monitoring production yields and escalating issues in line with reaction escalation procedures
• Monitoring and topping up consumables on production lines as required
• Preparing materials and equipment for use within the ECA (Environmentally Controlled Area)
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping across the work area
• Working collaboratively with the wider operations team to ensure production targets and quality standards are achieved
• Following all site safety, hygiene and operational procedures at all times

 


Requirements:


 

• Relevant production/manufacturing or operational experience
• Good communication skills
• Strong teamwork skills
• Flexible and adaptable approach due to the demands of the operation
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
