Hours: 40 hours
Pay: £25,000 - £30,000

Role Overview:
We are looking for a Stores Person with an aviation background to join our client's team. As a vital part of the operations, you will be responsible for managing aviation parts and equipment, ensuring that all items are stored correctly and ready for use in maintaining our client's aircraft fleet. This role requires an in-depth understanding of aviation parts and their correct handling in line with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the receipt, storage, and issue of aviation parts and components in accordance with aviation safety regulations.
  • Ensure all aviation inventory is properly recorded, organised, and maintained to facilitate quick access.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and manage stock levels, ensuring that essential aviation parts are readily available for ongoing aircraft maintenance and operations.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance and procurement teams to ensure timely availability of aviation parts and materials.
  • Maintain an accurate record of all aviation goods, ensuring compliance with aviation industry standards.
  • Safely store, handle, and dispose of aviation-related materials following correct procedures.
  • Assist in managing the logistics of parts and tools required for aircraft servicing and repairs.
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and organised stores area that meets aviation safety requirements.
  • Support the quality control process by checking the condition and validity of parts in stock.

Key Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Stores Person or similar role within the aviation industry.
  • Strong knowledge of aviation parts, components, and aviation safety regulations.
  • Experience with inventory management systems, ideally within an aviation context.
  • Excellent organisational skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • A good understanding of the aviation industry’s needs and its fast-paced environment.
  • A valid driving licence (desirable but not essential).
